FAQ – Frequently Asked Questions

Experience the Joy of Receiving a Poem

There’s something magical about finding a handwritten poem in your mailbox—especially when it’s from someone across the world. Each envelope carries not just words, but intention, emotion, and connection. Whether you read it over breakfast or keep it for a rainy afternoon, these poems offer a pause from digital noise and a return to something deeply human.

Poetry Without Borders

PoemAir bridges distances through creativity. By exchanging handwritten verses, you join a movement that values authenticity, cultural exchange, and emotional connection. Every poem is a chance to share your voice—and to hear someone else’s, no matter where they are in the world.

PoemAir is a global community where members send and receive handwritten poems by post. It’s a poetic way to connect with others across borders.

You request to send a poem, receive a random recipient address and poem ID, mail your handwritten poem, and eventually receive a poem from another member.

Not necessarily. You can handwrite a favorite poem from any author, as long as you clearly credit it. The focus is on personal expression and care.

No. To maintain the magic and spontaneity, recipients are assigned at random within our trusted member base.

Basic membership is free. If you want to receive curated poems regularly, you can subscribe to one of our AeroPlanes.

We know mail can be unpredictable. That’s why we track submissions through IDs. If something goes missing, we’ll help resolve it through our support desk.
